Anthony Martial came off the bench late in Manchester United’s game against Crystal Palace but didn’t need much time to make an impact on the game to leave fans purring.
After instantly destroying Andros Townsend, his fine cross left Romelu Lukaku with an easy tap in to find the net and put United 4-0 up.
Fans are well aware of Martial’s ability to dribble and while they may prefer home-grown Marcus Rashford, the former Monaco man has a special place in their hearts as well.
Capable of making the most seasoned of defenders look absolutely silly (just ask Martin Skrtel and Martín Demichelis, among many other victims), the striker-turned-winger is slowly growing a reputation as a ruthless footballer.
Anthony’s quick feet, eye for a pass and precise finishing has won him many Red admirers and Manchester United fans will continue to enjoy his fierce rivalry with Rashford this season.
Mourinho is spoilt for choice with Rashford and Martial. The rotation is bringing the best out of both players and #mufc is benefiting #UTFR

With the way Martial has been ending lives lately, I'm surprised he hasn't yet been charged with genocide

Martial's best season for us imo. Surely so much more to come from him. Gem of a Player

Anthony Martial now has more PL assists (12) than any other Manchester United player since joining in 2015/16. #MUFC pic.twitter.com/qqg0clNJOr

The link-up play between Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku is sensational. On the same wavelength at all times.

Martial & Herrera have been brilliant since coming on. Great to have such professional and hungry players waiting for the chance to impress.

While Martial will certainly be disappointed to (absurdly) miss out on the French squad for the upcoming internationals, the Old Trafford faithful will be delighted to keep such raw talent to themselves.
France manager Didier Deschamps can continue to underrate the youngster while United’s followers continue to show him the love and appreciation he deserves.
In his third season at the club, Anthony has shown no signs of slowing down and has quickly put behind him the relatively quiet year that he had under Mourinho’s first season as Manchester United manager.
Fans can see the sheer hunger and desire in his cold eyes while opposition defenders fear for their own careers whenever they come up against him; what can possibly be a better combination?
