Anthony Martial didn’t start the game against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford but certainly impressed in his short time since coming off the bench.
It wouldn’t be surprising if the young Frenchman was frustrated with his lack of starts for Manchester United but instead he’s taken it in his stride and performed time and time again with his cameos.
Martial has made six appearances in the Premier League but only one of those was as a starter. Despite that, he’s managed to score three goals and assist twice in just 140 minutes of action in England’s top division.
The stats are certainly impressive but it’s even more impressive from a substitute. Other players struggle to get going when they come off the bench but Anthony matches the intensity of the game and even goes beyond that.
His good form hasn’t gone unnoticed by Manchester United fans and after the Crystal Palace game, one fan took to Twitter to express his views. The former Monaco man removed his necklaces before running on to the pitch, much to one fan’s delight:

The young star had a growing reputation as someone who never smiles but it appears like he was in tears after the tweet went viral.
Should the pacy footballer continue to enjoy his football and perform consistently at a high level, both himself and Manchester United will profit this season.
