Manchester United’s very own Marcus Rashford is hard at work whilst away on international duty with England ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.
The national team will face off against both, Slovenia at Wembley and Lithuania away from home as they aim to qualify for the globe’s biggest football international tournament.
Wins will be expected against both teams and Manchester United fans will be keen on seeing Rashford perform with his country whilst avoiding injury.
England will likely start Harry Kane up front for both games but Gareth Southgate may be tempted to play Marcus on the left wing after his recent fine form for the club.
The Manchester United academy product will hope to play a hand in helping his country reach the World Cup in Russia as the country seeks to be competitive.
Southgate, who previously managed Rashford in England’s U21’s, will be hoping to make a better impression on the international stage than the country previously did in the 2016 Euro’s.
Gareth has a young crop of players to work with but has experience on his side of managing youngsters and will be hoping to blood most of them ahead of the summer.
Just who will be picked for the World Cup will depend on who’s inform and featuring for their respective clubs regularly but it’s hard to imagine Marcus missing out.
The deadly youngster is capable of changing a game and provides plenty of much needed energy and excitement into England’s senior side.
Before the World Cup comes around however, Rashford will be hoping to add more to his current international caps tally and in this form, who’s to stop him?
