Manchester United’s Victor Lindelof was blasted by fans after his dreadful mistake vs Huddersfield as the Red Devils fell behind 2-0 before the break.
The home team scored both their first half goals by capitalising on two individual errors made by Juan Mata and Lindelof.
Strong winds didn’t create the best footballing atmosphere and the Swede struggled to deal with the unpredictability, missing his header entirely to allow the opposition a free shot at goal.
The centre-back was also at fault for Huddersfield’s first goal as he was twisted inside-out by Tom Ince before they managed to score.
Victor had an inspiring game against Benfica in the Champions League before today’s match but had a performance to forget as his inconsistencies continues, much to fans frustrations.

Don't want to be too cruel but in the ten minutes since Victor Lindelof came on MUFC have conceded as many goals as previous eight PL games

Namanja Vidic turned 36 today and he'd still be more useful than Lindelof. pic.twitter.com/zNNnmbEi81

Lindelof makes the signing of Bebe look like a coup.

What a rotten set of individual errors in the 1st half. The way i see it, Mata and Lindelof now owe us goals.

The defender was only on the pitch after Phil Jones sustained an early injury and was substituted into a tough and intense match.
Apparently he couldn’t slot in easily and needed some time to catch up to the tempo but it was far too late for that.
The physicality of the league is what Lindelof seems to struggle with most and the former Benfica man will have to adjust quickly if he wants to stand any chance of having a successful career at Old Trafford.
The quality he has is there but it’s not being shown and fans will hope he can bounce back next season much the same way Henrikh Mkhitaryan has this year.
