Manchester United’s Victor Lindelof started in the club’s comfortable 2-0 win over Swansea but it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the centre-back.
After his dreadful performance against Huddersfield, Lindelof hardly put in a display to make United fans forget about it.
Instead he was nervous and always seems prone to error but despite his shortcomings, the Red Devils cruised to a win against an uninspiring team.
Games are coming hard and fast at United and Victor and if the defender wishes to quickly cement his first team spot, he’ll have to put in better performances.
Lindelof is nervous. He's finding it hard to cope with the pressure. Its not about being a bad player.

Praying he improves but the early signs of Lindelof are not promising. Every high ball near him you get nervous as a fan, not good. #mufc

A boost for Victor Lindelof, who has been on the pitch for 10 minutes without making a hideous error.

Lindelof is gonna be a long-term project. Needs to get some game time before we can really see where he is. Looks a nervous wreck.

Lindelof should be taking notes on how Axel is playing today

United are set to take on Tottenham, Benfica and Chelsea in their next three games and Lindelof will surely be needed in at least one of those matches.
Not the easiest run of fixtures for him to be called upon but the Swede will need to adjust fast for what is proving to be an injury prone season for the club’s defenders once more.
Jose Mourinho surely would’ve preferred to slowly integrate Victor into the squad once he realised that the former Benfica man wasn’t quite ready yet for a first team spot but things haven’t quite gone in favour of that.
A bit of a shock start to his career at Old Trafford but Lindelof has enough about him to truly turn it around if he can build on his performances.
