Paul Pogba has returned to Carrington as he nears his return for Manchester United from a hamstring injury sustained last month.
The Frenchman, who had enjoyed a superb start to the new campaign, was forced off during the early stages of Man United’s 3-0 win over FC Basel.
He has been working on his rehabilitation in the United States with his own specialist team and recent reports from France have claimed that he could be fit in time for United’s trip to Chelsea on November 5.
And Jesse Lingard has posted a video of Pogba in typically high spirits, mimicking the Englishman’s dance celebration – derived from the song ‘Portland’ by Drake – as he enters the last stage of his recovery process before returning to action.
Pogba, despite being back at Carrington, didn’t train with the first team squad on Thursday morning, with United’s training staff understandably phasing him back in slowly.
But in keeping with the album responsible for that dance, Pogba’s mere presence has clearly injected ‘More Life’ into this United side already.
There are some characters who you could never replace or replicate and the 24-year-old is one of them, and the mood around the dressing room would have been decidedly less colourful without him.
Supporters will just hope to see him working with the first team squad sooner rather than later.
