The 36-year-old, who scored 27 goals last season, signed a new one year deal at Old Trafford in August after showing positive signs of progress in his rehabilitation programme.
His agent, Mino Raiola, has predicted a January return for the Swede, but Jose Mourinho believes he could play for United before the new year.
And Fellaini has posted a video showing the striker going through some light shooting exercises, captioning the video with Zlatan’s infamous phrase: ‘Don’t compare a lion with a human”.

Zlatan has entered the home straight. Recovering from an ACL injury primarily entails spending time in the gym, and the shift to working on grass and with the ball constitutes the closing stages of what would have been, even for a man of his supreme mental fortitude, a difficult thing to endure.
But, speaking from experience, feeling the ball at your feet is a moment to savour. The hard part is over for Zlatan and he can now focus on restoring his potency in front of goal ahead of what promises to be a salutary, galvanising return to action over the next month or so.
