Manchester United are about to hit their very best form, claims Andre Herrera.
The popular midfielder came on as a substitute at the week’s as Man United were ruthless and clinical to beat Arsenal 3-1 away from home at the Emirates.
United have now won four consecutive league games.
“We are going to find our best moment very soon,” Herrera told ManUtd.com.
“We are second and chasing to be top of the table.
“It was a fantastic result [at Arsenal] with some great performances, Herrera enthused.
The Spaniard picked out a number of key players for personal praise, including his countryman David de Gea.
United’s goalkeeper made 14 saves against Arsenal, the most of any player in a single league game since Opta stats began in 2003.
That included a sensational double stop to deny Alexander Lacazette at one point.
“David was amazing, and we were clinical in the first half, with two chances in the first 15 minutes and two goals.
“Jesse is on fire now, Paul [Pogba] as well, it’s a pity he got a red card. Romelu [Lukaku] didn’t score but he helped us a lot. The centre-backs – Victor [Lindelof] is in fantastic form right now. So we are optimistic of course.”
Herrera also insisted he nor any of United’s players are focusing on Sunday’s all-important Manchester derby at home to City, who have 13 league games on the bounce.
“I’m not thinking about Sunday, now it’s about CSKA. We are not qualified yet so we don’t think about City yet,” Herrera claimed.
