Manchester United target Malcom strongly hints at a move to England

Bordeaux star Malcom has left Manchester United fans in a heap after seemingly hinting at a move to England on his social media.

The Brazilian has been strongly linked with the Red Devils due to his performances of late but also because Jose Mourinho has publicly stated his intent to sign a winger for the club.

Despite having a tradition of skilful wingers, United actually find themselves short of natural wide-men this season and have been forced to play players out of their position.

Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are all not the most typical or classical wingers of old with some of them admitting to feeling awkward out wide.

Malcom’s addition to the squad would certainly add depth to the wings and perhaps will allow some of the above players to feature in their natural positions.

According to Manchester Evening News, Malcom posted an image on his Instagram story attempting to learn English amid rumours of him moving to Manchester United.

Plenty of reports have come through about the possible move but perhaps only one of them makes a decent amount of sense.

The report stated that the 20 year old was to be signed this winter transfer window but immediately loaned back until the end of the season.

Although United lack traditional wingers, there’s a fair amount of depth on the wings already at the club and it’s hard to imagine Mourinho bringing in a youngster to ‘save’ their season.

It makes more sense for Malcom to continue his encouraging campaign at the club he’s in until Jose can reshuffle the squad in the summer and make space for the talented footballer.
