Axel Tuanzebe looks set to join Aston Villa for the remainder of the 2017/18 campaign after struggling for minutes at Old Trafford this season.
The 20-year-old made his senior debut in January 2016 and impressed on his first Premier League start against Arsenal back in May.
He has continued to work with the first team squad this season but his only start has come against Swansea City in the League Cup.
And according to Bleacher Report‘s Dean Jones, Tuanzebe will join up with Steve Bruce’s men – currently in fifth place in the Championship – for the rest of the campaign.

Tuanzebe is far too good, too mature on a technical and temperamental level, to not be playing every week, and he can feel aggrieved at missing out on games against CSKA Moscow, Bristol City and Derby County in recent times. This is somebody who has always looked the part whenever he steps onto the pitch.
And a truly exciting challenge awaits him in Birmingham: Villa are just five points off an automatic promotion spot and will, no doubt, need to call on Tuanzebe’s defensive discipline and guile on the ball at points throughout the season.
With Luke Shaw enjoying a new lease of life at Old Trafford, it only makes sense for the defender to find regular playing time elsewhere, and he will embark on his first ever loan move with the inventive of promotion to the Premier League as a source of motivation.
