Manchester United youngster Anthony Martial left fans impressed by his performance vs Stoke at Old Trafford on Monday night.
The former AS Monaco man reminded fans that he is still a dangerous player and caused some damage to the away side to help United in their pursuit of establishing dominance in the game.
Martial managed to grab the second goal of the game after a neat layoff by an intelligent Paul Pogba and his finish was equal to the assist, curling his shot into the top corner from outside of the opposition box.
With the winger’s position typically under threat from fellow youngster Marcus Rashford, he had to do something special to make a claim to the left wing position.
Fans couldn’t have been more delighted with his display, witnessing his true clinical nature at it’s best as he turned a half chance into a goal.
Martial same amount of goals this season as Lacazette?? ????????

Anthony Martial 11 Premier League goals/assists this season have come at a rate of 1 every 88 minutes
Only Mo Salah has a better record
Yet he's started just 12 league games this season. Mourinho needs to make him 1 of the first names on the teamsheet for the rest of the season pic.twitter.com/d19buyQ90Q

Genuinely see no reason why Anthony Martial can’t be a top three contender for the Ballon d’Or in future years. Could possibly even win it. Immense talent and potential.

That is a stunning goal from Martial, brilliantly seen by the excellent Pogba.

Anthony’s goal certainly helps him in his bid for consistent first team football but with so much competition in the Red Devils’ squad he’ll have to continue performing to stay on the pitch.
His hopes are without a doubt to become the club’s leading striker and despite proving able to link up with Romelu Lukaku, he’ll need to ply his trade from the left wing at first.
Jose Mourinho may soon have to consider playing a two striker formation but the manager is too busy trying to bring out the best of his star player Pogba.
A three man midfield seems to do the trick but that’ll often mean a single striker leading the line with Martial possibly having to make do with the left wing position.
