Manchester United are putting the final touches to a video which will accompany the announcement of Alexis Sanchez’s arrival tonight, according to reports.
The Chilean, who completed his medical on Sunday ahead of a straight swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, was pictured wearing a Man United shirt last night.
Sanchez was in Liverpool earlier to oversee an update to his work permit – the final box to tick before he can be officially announced as the club’s new No.7.
And according to the Express‘ Jack Wilson, the club is in the process of finishing a video that will go with his announcement later tonight and include the hashtag #AlexIsRed
Sanchez’s arrival will most likely come after 21:00 GMT – the time when the New York stock market, heavily linked with the Glazers and a majority of the club’s assets, officially closes, meaning when stocks reopen the next day plenty of shareholders would have seen their money dramatically increase in value.
More importantly, though, I sincerely hope that this is the most cringeworthy, anti-Yer-Da video possible: Sanchez and Jesse Lingard milly-rocking on the pitch, lots of selfies, Paul Pogba dabbing as he floats through the air, Ed Woodward, wearing a mankini, jumping into a huge pool of money as Jose Mourinho throws darts a massive Pep Guardiola cut-out.
Only a few hours now remain until United shatter the internet into tiny pieces.
