February 6 2018 marked 60 years since 21 people, including eight Manchester United players, died in the Munich Air Disaster.

The club held a memorial service at Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho, Sir Alex Ferguson, the entire first team squad and thousands of supporters present to pay their respects.

Elsewhere, supporters flocked in their numbers to Manchesterplatz in Munich, while the Under 19 side laid wreaths on the pitch at the Partizan stadium in Belgrade – the last ground that witnessed the famous Busby Babes prior to the disaster.

Here are a selection of photos from Old Trafford and Belgrade as supporters, players, ex-players, staff and members of the board all came together to remember those who lost their lives that day.
