Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford opened up on the goals his scored vs Liverpool in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
The academy product was clinical, scoring twice in the club’s 2-1 win over their fierce rivals as the two clubs fought for second place.
United now hold a comfortable five point gap to Jurgen Klopp’s men and have Rashford to thank after scoring a brace within twenty minutes of the first half.
It was the youngster’s quick fire double that allowed Jose Mourinho‘s men to control the match for large periods, forcing the Reds to attempt to break them down.

The 20 year old’s description of his goals are as accurate as ever with him being set up perfectly and only really tasked with converting the chances.
Marcus Rashford‘s second goal in particular was almost plated for him given how Liverpool’s goalkeeper was out of position when it fell to his feet.
On another day he may not have been as efficient but fans were certainly pleased that everything went right for him, particularly after his recent form.
Rashford’s form got so poor that it reached the point where some supporters were concerned he may be on his way out of Old Trafford.
Handed a start in Anthony Martial‘s absence it’s fair to say the Englishman didn’t fail to repay his manager’s faith.
