The French midfielder suffered a gash to his leg during the closing stages of Man United’s final training session ahead of their 2-1 win over Liverpool on Saturday.
Martial, on the other hand, missed the 3-2 win over Crystal Palace last week as well as the weekend win over Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The winger has thankfully returned to training but Pogba, benched for the first leg in Seville, is a major doubt ahead of tomorrow night after failing to appear for first team training.

Ander Herrera, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo all remain on the sidelines as well, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic has trained ahead of the meeting with Vincenzo Montella’s side – a game he pointed out as a potential return date having not featured since Boxing Day.
Eric Bailly has trained after his injury scare in the second half against Liverpool, but supporters will be concerned to see the creative nucleus of their midfield missing another crunch game.
Perhaps Marouane Fellaini, who made a return from injury over the weekend, will be deployed as the side’s midfield instigator in similar fashion to when he replaced the injured Pogba against FC Basel back in September.
