Manchester United’s Anthony Martial’s representatives met with Juventus: report

Manchester United star Anthony Martial‘s representatives reportedly met with Juventus in what would surely be considered a major blow for the club.

The Frenchman is already beloved to many fans and his talent is clear for all to see with Jose Mourinho certainly eager to hold onto him.

Martial is widely regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in Europe and it’s no surprise to see the Serie A side interested in him.

Although United currently have Marcus Rashford amongst their stars to soften the blow of the former Monaco man leaving, no one would be pleased to see a transfer happen.

Should a move transpire then the Red Devils’ can only take it as the club moving backwards in it’s bid to return to the top of world football.

According to Sports Mole, Premium Sport report that Anthony’s representatives met with the Italian giant’s vice-chairman Pavel Nedved with rumours circulating that a transfer was being discussed.

With the 22 year old back to his best form this season, it would be a shame to see him move on to one of the club’s European rivals.

Juventus are certainly aiming to win the Champions League every season and Manchester United are aiming to be doing the same regularly as well.

As mentioned before, Rashford would soften the blow and it could lead to him developing faster with the increased game time.

On the other hand competition for places is what improves players and both of the youngsters have admitted to improving due to it.
