Manchester United to sell Anthony Martial to fund move for Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale: report

Manchester United are reportedly set to sell Anthony Martial as they bid to tempt Gareth Bale into joining the club in the summer transfer window.

The Frenchman’s future has been up in the air of late and it appears that a decision has been made on how it will all unravel for him at the end of the season.

Fans will certainly be disappointed should the departure transpire with Martial considered to be a bit of a fan favourite.

The former Monaco man was rumoured earlier in the campaign to have a contract on his way due to his good form that saw him win the January player of the month award.

However, no new contract ever came about and it was said that the player’s camp were unhappy with what they considered to be a drawn out process.

According to the Mirror, the Red Devils will cash in on Anthony in order to fund a move for Gareth with Jose reportedly losing patience with his player.

Perhaps the recent rumours of the 22 year old’s potential departure is an effort from his agent’s to try and step negotiations up.

Juventus have recently been linked with Anthony Martial with the Italian giants interested in signing a player who will surely develop into one of the best in the world.

Perhaps his agent is using the Serie A club’s interest to his own advantage but supporters will not care either way and will simply want him to be tied down as soon as possible.
