Valencia are reported to have stepped up their interested in Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira and hope to sign him permanently.
The youngster joined the Spanish club on loan last summer making 25 appearances across all competitions despite picking up an injury recently.
Pereira left United under dubious circumstances with it said that Jose Mourinho was upset the player wished to move on loan elsewhere.
The Portuguese manager reportedly wanted the Belgian to remain at Old Trafford but the player was unhappy with the lack of promise for game time.
He’s since seen what could’ve been his with Scott McTominay rising through the ranks and staking a claim in the starting XI.
According to Football Espana, Diaro AS report that the La Liga club met with Andreas’ agent as they hope to sign the player permanently from the Red Devils.
Mourinho will surely not wish to lose a talented youngster but should the versatile midfielder wish to leave then there’s nothing he can really do.
It is after all a little unusual that Andreas Pereira would not wish to stay and fight for his place at Manchester United twice in a row.
Perhaps Jose can grant Pereira a move to Valencia, if it is his wish, but also include a buy-back clause similar to what happened with former United man Memphis Depay.
