Anthony Martial has expressed his delight at Manchester United’s win over AFC Bournemouth on Twitter amid a wave of speculation about his future.
The Frenchman, who only made his third Premier League start since January on Wednesday, has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford having grown frustrated with a lack of game time under Jose Mourinho.
He was handed a chance against Bournemouth, however, and delivered a growingly convincing performance, producing a series of penetrative bursts down the left and playing a crucial role in Romelu Lukaku’s goal with a sublime flick to Paul Pogba.
And the 22-year-old took to social media after the game to hail what was a good win for Man United on the South Coast.

To see the Frenchman back out on the pitch, twisting the blood of full-backs with some wonderful shimmying and swerving on the ball, was a glorious sight, and one United fans have not seen particularly often in recent times.
He is not the perfect footballer. His body language can be all wrong at times; he can be sloppy with his final product.
But at the very core of it all lies a truly special footballer – a frighteningly good talent who, with a run of games, would look even more refined going forward. You can only hope he gets that chance at United. If not, it won’t take long for another club to snap him up in the summer.
