Jose Mourinho: We can head into the FA Cup final in good spirits

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has praised the club’s fans and claimed it’s because of them the club can head into the FA Cup final in good spirits.

The Portuguese boss overcame Tottenham in the semi-final fixture of the competition and saw his side complete a superb comeback win once more.

United were trailing 1-0 after a turbulent first 20 minutes but it wasn’t too long before Alexis Sanchez equalised to give his side some hope.

After the break the match was all about Mourinho’s men and once Ander Herrera rifled home the winner, it was all smooth cruising from then on.

The Red Devils were playing at Wembley with the fans packing out the stands to the brim to help create a wonderful atmosphere.

Jose has praised the club’s away fans multiple times this season though has criticised the fans who come to Old Trafford for failing to create an atmosphere.

Manchester United’s away supporters are notorious and widely considered to be the best in the country but when it comes to their home stadium, they’ve rarely been equalled.

There’s hope the club’s hierarchy will listen to the appeals of the fans to help them better organise the stadium so that noisy nights can return to Old Trafford once more though the final will be played in Wembley.
