Jose Mourinho to loan Manchester United’s Victor Lindelof: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is set to loan out Victor Lindelof next Premier League season if reports are to be believed.

The Portuguese manager was initially the one who brought the Swede star into the club but apparently hasn’t been convinced by what he’s seen.

It’s fair to say Lindelof has struggled to make an impression so far in his debut season though he has started to adjust to his new surroundings with his man of the match performance vs Arsenal proof of that.

Mourinho is said to be keen on revamping his defence with United linked with the likes of Barcelona’s Samuel Umtiti and Tottenham’s Toby Alderwiereld.

If those rumours are true then perhaps there’s no room for the 23 year old until he develops further and can prove his quality.

According to Sports Mole, the Sun report that Jose has doubts over Victor’s ability to perform right now and is willing to loan him out in order to gain more match experience.

The defender has all the qualities necessary to be a top centre-back in modern football- he’s fast, good on the ball and still solid in his tackles.

The Sun’s report is pretty bizarre and the timing of it surfacing is even more unusual given it came on the back of Victor Lindelof‘s performance vs the Gunners.
