Manchester United have received a timely injury boost in the form of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku ahead of their clash with Chelsea in the FA Cup final.
Jose Mourinho‘s men are set to take on Antonio Conte’s side in Wembley but first have to face West Ham and Watford in the build up.
Both Sanchez and Lukaku are considered to be amongst United’s best players and so their return from their respective injuries is certain to give them an edge.
If Mourinho wants to lift the team’s only possible piece of silverware then he will definitely need his best players to be fit.
With their being less than two weeks left to the final, there were concerns the pair would not make it back in time though those concerns have been alleviated.
According to the Daily Star, the Sun report that Alexis and Romelu are both expected to be fit for the Watford match in the final clash before facing the Blues.
The Belgian was taken off against Arsenal and the Chilean’s absence from the Red Devils’ loss against Brighton was put down as an injury that happened between both matches.
Should both players be fit then there’s no doubt Jose will turn to them in order to deliver the only trophy that is in contention.
