Manchester United star Paul Pogba has given an honest account of his season and admits he feels better following his injury.
The Frenchman started the season in fine form with his club also reflecting that form by putting up serious points on the Premier League table.
United kept up with Manchester City during the opening weeks, destroying teams left and right but their performances soon dipped.
It wasn’t a coincidence that it all happened when Pogba suffered an injury that kept him out for a while and Jose Mourinho‘s men failed to recover since.
The former Juventus man though has finally managed to put it all behind him by winning April’s player of the month award.
According to Goal, Paul said to Premier League Productions: “I had a big injury and missed a lot of games, but now I feel much better.
“And I’ve been proving it with more assists. I’m not hitting the crossbar and the post like last season, so I’m happy. I’ve been involved in a few goals so I’m pretty happy.”
Despite Paul Pogba putting up very decent numbers this season there still remains critics, mainly because people feel he can do even better.
Such is his talent that there are huge expectations on him and there’s no doubting that on his day there are very few midfielders in the world better than him.
Pogba’s problem is his consistency though he’s started to prove that he can move past that as well so fans will be hoping to see him plenty more of personal awards.
