Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has given Manchester United fans some hope by not ruling out a departure this summer transfer window.
The Portuguese hero has often been linked with a move back to Old Trafford and while there hasn’t been any official talk about it, Jose Mourinho has previously stated it’d be impossible to say no to a player of that quality.
Whether Ronaldo is aiming to get yet another contract at Madrid or not is yet to be seen but United could still do with his talents despite him departing many years ago.
The world class winger’s mother also didn’t help the situation by admitting that if her said had to leave the Spanish capital, she would prefer it if he went back to Manchester.
A deal for Cristiano seems financially difficult to complete but the Red Devils could make quite a chunk of money back in terms of the commercial side of things.
The former Manchester United man had claimed earlier that he believes he could play until the age of 41 so even if he was to return to the club he could still have a decent couple of seasons.
It would be interesting to see whether he can still perform and for how long but for now, supporters will have to wait to see if anything develops.
