Manchester United fans are absolutely excited at the prospect of signing Diogo Dalot with the transfer edging closer for days now.
The Porto man is at the brink of completing the move with reports claiming a transfer fee has been agreed as well as a medical completed, meaning an official announcement is all that’s left.
Dalot is set to be United’s second signing of the summer with former Shakhtar Donetsk man Fred being the first.
The youngster is expected to challenge Antonio Valencia for the right-back spot but some reports have stated he would be used as a left-back as well.
Diogo’s versatility will certainly do him good with Jose Mourinho a fan of such players but more importantly it will allow him more minutes on the pitch than usual.
Diogo Dalot has passed second part of his medical. Will be a Manchester United player officially in the next couple of days. Strong start in this window for United – minimum of 3 more players to sign.

Mourinho’s public wish to focus on his midfield and defence seems to be true so far with Diogo Dalot and Fred representing those positions respectively.
The Brazilian’s transfer has already been confirmed and it should only be a matter of time before the Portuguese’s is as well.
Fans are clearly pleased with the two additions but there’s clearly still a need to improve further which is no doubt what Jose has planned as well.
