Manchester United hope to keep Marouane Fellaini: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United are reportedly still hoping to hold onto Marouane Fellaini with recent rumours linking him with a move to AC Milan or even Arsenal.

The London club emerged as surprise candidates for the Belgian with Unai Emery apparently keen on signing him since the latter’s PSG days.

Milan have also been lurking since the winter period with Fellaini’s contract situation now reaching ridiculous standards.

United and the tenacious midfielder both need to iron out whatever problem there is and move on in order to focus on bigger things.

It’s clear that even with the addition of Fred and Diogo Dalot that Jose Mourinho is still not done with business in this transfer window.

According to the Irish Examiner, the Red Devils are still keen to hold onto Marouane despite it appearing as though he will see out his current contract with the club.

His contract runs out in less than a month now and though many fans will be pleased to see him go, it would mean needing to invest in another midfielder.

Mourinho is almost desperate to hold onto him having publicly admitted several times the desire to tie him down to a new contract.

On the surface though it seems as though Marouane Fellaini‘s demands are too much with Turkish clubs and AC Milan also failing to negotiate through talks properly.
