Manchester United have reportedly revealed their asking price for Anthony Martial after his agent claimed there was a desire to leave Old Trafford for various reasons.
The club and Frenchman are said to be engaged in contract negotiations for months now and it appears they can’t reach an agreement.
Martial was rumoured to be unhappy with his match time, particularly after Alexis Sanchez’s arrival from Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The former AS Monaco man was already made to compete with Marcus Rashford for the left wing spot, which is his less desire position, and the Chilean’s transfer meant even less minutes were being handed out.
Jose Mourinho couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to sign Sanchez for free but perhaps even he couldn’t have foreseen the problems that were to come from signing the former Barcelona star.
According to 101 Great Goals, the Sun report that the Red Devils have slapped a £100m price tag on Anthony’s head despite not wanting him to leave the club.
Tottenham and Chelsea are said to be the most interested parties but there are also a host of other top European clubs that want to invest in the pacy attacker.
Clubs are likely to balk at the figure which is perhaps what United were aiming to do in the first place.
