Manchester United’s latest signing Fred has already enjoyed being in the famous red shirt as his pictures were taken following the official announcement.
The Brazilian’s transfer fee was previously agreed with Shakhtar Donetsk but unfortunately it took some time to make the transfer official.
The hope was to complete the signing before the World Cup but fans have had to wait until today to see their new signing in two different United kits.
The midfielder’s move was delayed by the need of a work permit, medical and personal details and although it was never likely that it would all breakdown, some supporters were a little worried.
Fred has already discussed his desire to win trophies for the Red Devils as well as his pride in representing the same club as Ryan Giggs and it’s clear to see from the pictures how happy he is.

The figure that’s being reported is around £50m for the signing of the former Shakhtar Donetsk man which is relatively cheap in today’s market given the competition for his signature.
Any fans hoping to see their new signing in action as soon as possible can see him feature for Brazil in the World Cup once he’s declared fully fit.
