Bayern Munich’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has refused to reveal too much on the rumours that link Manchester United star Anthony Martial to the club.
The Frenchman is reportedly on the radar of many of Europe’s best including Juventus who have been keeping an eye on him for several months now.
Martial’s agent didn’t help smooth things over with United when he publicly claimed his client’s desire to leave due to differences in contract negotiations.
It’s said that the former AS Monaco man’s party are upset with how Jose Mourinho’s side have not been able to have a breakthrough and how prolonged talks have been ongoing.
Salihamidzic was revealing Bayern’s latest manager when he refused to deny reports linking Anthony to the club which will certainly worry the Red Devils.
According to talkSPORT, Hasan said: “These things we discuss internally. If there is something to tell you, we will do that.”
It’s understood that Manchester United don’t want to let Martial go but haven’t taken the correct steps forward to ensure that such a thing doesn’t happen.
It appears that the versatile attacker doesn’t necessarily want to leave as he spoke glowingly about the club’s supporters but will depart if he has to.
All players like to feel valued and have some sort of promise for first team football so it’s no surprise that Anthony is chasing both in what will prove to be a crucial year for himself and the club.
