Manchester United have reportedly been issued a hands off warning by Inter Milan for Ivan Perisic with Jose Mourinho perhaps forced to consider alternatives.
The Portuguese manager was said to have been interested in the Croatian and admitted publicly he doesn’t know why a move didn’t happen.
Perisic was on Mourinho’s wanted list last summer but a move failed to materialise and he ended up renewing his contract with the Serie A club instead.
It was clear the former Real Madrid boss was in search of a right-winger as he also targeted Gareth Bale and it seems he’s still searching for an alternative.
Alexis Sanchez was signed but ultimately proved he’s best coming off from the left flank meaning move for the Inter man could still happen.
According to Manchester Evening News, Tuttosport report the Italian side have told the Red Devils Ivan is not for sale, slamming the door shut on any potential deal.
There’s no doubt Inter Milan want to hold onto their star man but everyone does have a price and United could exploit that.
However, they’ve had a relatively quite transfer window so far and if reports are to be believed, they’re on a bit of a budget which could see Jose end this transfer saga.
