Fred, Andreas Pereira, Marcus Rashford and Phil Jones have been pictured pulling into Carrington for the first time as Manchester United prepare for their final pre-season game against Bayern Munich on Sunday afternoon.
Fred, who remains the club’s only major signing of the transfer window, joined the club’s pre-season tour last week and impressed against Real Madrid, whereas Pereira has been a star throughout the tour, playing more minutes in the United States than any other player.
The two Brazilians have obviously struck up a relationship quickly and shared a ride into Carrington this morning.
Rashford is back in training for the first time since England’s journey to the semi-finals of the World Cup in Russia. Jose Mourinho confirmed earlier this week that the youngster, along with Phil Jones and Romelu Lukaku, had resolved to return from their holidays three days early to help the squad ahead of their Premier League opener with Leicester City.
Victor Lindelof has also been back in training for almost a week as United’s squad slowly starts to return to full strength. There is no word yet on when exactly Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba will make a return to first team training.
