Manchester United star Anthony Martial has reportedly got a price-tag on his head now as his future at the club continues to be called into question.
The Frenchman’s agent had claimed his client wants to leave the club following a failure to reach an agreement during contract negotiations.
Since then there have been conflicting reports over whether Martial will be allowed to leave and whether there’s been a breakdown in his relationship with Jose Mourinho.
Others have stated the talented youngster is set to stay at Old Trafford and the Portuguese manager is happy with his attacking options.
With fans unsure over who to believe one thing is clear- the former AS Monaco man’s future is far from secure as reports would’ve been rubbished otherwise.
According to Manchester Evening News, the Telegraph report the Red Devils as having placed a £70m price-tag for Anthony despite the board being reluctant to sell.
It’s a number that clearly shows how much the club value him but it’s possibly also set to deter any continental clubs from making an approach for him.
It’s believed even if Martial is allowed to leave, he won’t be allowed to move to a Premier League club so even if there are any that can afford him bids will be turned down.
