Manchester United target Ante Rebic refuses to rule out leaving Eintracht Frankfurt

Manchester United target Ante Rebic has refused to rule out the prospect of leaving Eintracht Frankfurt over the summer.

The Eintracht Frankfurt winger caught the eye of several European suitors following an impressive World Cup campaign with Croatia.

Jose Mourinho remains keen on bolstering his attack before the window shuts and was reportedly told by club scouts to make an approach for Rebic.

And Rebic, speaking in an interview earlier this week, confirmed he had attracted attention from top clubs and admitted he still hadn’t made a decision regarding his future.

“I am obviously glad to hear and read about how many big coaches and clubs are asking about me,” he said.  “Honestly, I think I deserved it.”

“I had a great World Cup and an even better club season with Eintracht. Yes, I know there are concrete offers, I keep in regular contact with my agent.

“I’m glad I proved that everyone can count on me, but as I said there is enough time left until transfer window closes.”

Rebic is likely to complete a move away from the mid-table Bundesliga side but United will need to move extremely quick if his next destination will be Old Trafford.

Only three days remain until the transfer deadline and United, as of now, are struggling to get their hands on a new central defender – let alone another attacking influence.

The Croat winger looks more likely to compete a move to Sevilla, who have emerged as favourites to secure his signature this month.
