Fenerbahce are reportedly set to make an approach for Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo as they look to improve their defence.
The Argentine was linked with a move away from the club this summer but nothing materialised as of yet though that can now change.
It’s understand Rojo has fallen down the pecking order at United with Jose Mourinho considering him to be the most dispensable of his defenders.
With the transfer window shut though, circumstances may have changed and Mourinho may be tempted to hold onto the former Sporting man due to his injury prone defence.
According to Turkish Football, Fanatik report that Fenerbahce want to sign Marcos on loan for the season after his move to Everton was blocked by the Red Devils.
The chance to move to the Toffees is officially over and it was believed the transfer was shut down as Jose is worried over his injury problems in defence.
However, it could be that Rojo wants to depart for guaranteed minutes and he may get more match-time should he secure the move to the Turkish side.
