Former Manchester United man Rio Ferdinand has revealed his thoughts on whether Andreas Pereira should stay at the club or leave this summer.
The Brazilian was one of Jose Mourinho’s better performers in Friday night’s win over Leicester City with arguably only Paul Pogba outshining him.
Pereira has gone from strength to strength in recent weeks as he consistently proved his quality during United’s pre-season.
However, doing well in real competitive matches is a different story and he still rose to the occasion in the 2-1 win over the Foxes.
Ferdinand clearly saw the first Premier League clash of the season and said just exactly what fans were thinking.

There has been plenty of talk over whether Mourinho would hold onto Andreas’ this season or not after letting him leave on loan to Valencia last campaign.
However, some reports claimed the midfielder was only allowed to leave as he tried to force the move away because he wasn’t guaranteed minutes at Old Trafford.
Pereira isn’t guaranteed minutes this season either but he’s more open to fighting for his place in the starting XI this time around.
Jose is clearly a fan after giving him a special mention after the Leicester win but whether it’s enough to keep Nemanja Matic out of the first eleven remains to be seen.
