Manchester United star Ander Herrera has insisted he’s happy with and at the club despite rumours over his potential departure.
The Spaniard was said to have been close to a move to AC Milan this summer but nothing transpired as the Premier League transfer window shut last week.
Since European transfers are still possible, there’s a chance it could happen but Jose Mourinho is said to wish to not lose any of his stars.
Herrera was even touted for a move back to his former club Atletico Bilbao with rumours of his unhappiness with the minutes he was getting under the Portuguese manager.
Whether anything comes up in the future no one can tell but for the time being at least, the midfielder appears happy with his surroundings.
According to Manchester Evening News, Ander said to Inside United: “The way the club treats me is perfect, the love the fans show for me couldn’t be better or bigger, my family is happy in Manchester, so I just try to give everything and put all my strength and effort to keep deserving to play for this club”
Unfortunately Herrera may start to reconsider his future at United due to the club being overstocked in the midfield position.
The Red Devils have switched to a 4-3-3 formation for this season but they still have too many options that will likely lead to someone becoming upset.
Perhaps if McTominay is sent on loan that will free up some space and there can be two players per position.
