Manchester United star Paul Pogba put in a mixed performance vs Brighton on Sunday evening that had supporters divided.
The Frenchman was once again named captain by Jose Mourinho but couldn’t singlehandedly inspire his teammates to a better result.
United lost 3-2 in a display worthy of being amongst the worst five matches since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
Pogba was on the scoresheet through a penalty once more but the scoreline actually reflects a better result than the one Mourinho’s men deserved.
Some fans believed the former Juventus man was one of the better performers while others believed he was the reason for the loss.

The Red Devils couldn’t follow up the 2-1 win vs Leicester with another three points that would’ve set the tone for the season.
Unfortunately the negative mood before the campaign started seems set to continue with Jose’s side facing Tottenham next.
Thankfully after that fixture, Manchester United will have a short international break that could see some regular stars return and a change in momentum potentially happen.
Though Mourinho will take the blame for the result, there’s certainly plenty of individuals who are at fault as well such as Eric Bailly who gave away the penalty.
