Manchester United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was spotted heading into the dressing room following the defeat to Brighton.
Jose Mourinho’s men lost 3-2 though some would argue the scoreline doesn’t reflect the true performance of his players.
United were terrible and didn’t really deserve the two goals they scored after some poor attacking play.
Defensively individual errors are what cost them but attacking wise they were toothless and didn’t create any worthwhile chances.
Woodward was amongst the audience who watched the match and must’ve had something to share after being caught walking into the dressing room.
Ed Woodward was in the away dressing room around five minutes. Left typing a message into his phone. Appears to have missed Jose Mourinho who was doing flash interviews at the time. Didn’t wait for him #mufc

It’s interesting that Ed didn’t wait for Mourinho as if he didn’t wish to address his employee unless they spoke after on the phone.
One can imagine what the executive vice-chairman had to say but there’s no telling for sure, at least for now.
Perhaps Woodward would’ve sent a warning to the players telling them if they don’t want to be here then they will be moved on.
Perhaps he was simply updating them on something that’s ongoing with the club the media don’t know about.
Either way, it’s not something that happens regularly so for Ed to go into the dressing room without the manager present, certainly some important message was delivered.
