Matic underwent surgery after the World Cup, sidelining him for the entirety of pre-season, whereas Antonio Valencia picked up an injury early in the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.
Sanchez, meanwhile, sustained an injury ahead of the 3-2 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend.
But Mourinho, following a difficult week, has received a boost regarding the trio, who should all be available for the clash with Spurs on Monday.
Jose on @NemanjaMatic, @Anto_V25 and @Alexis_Sanchez: "There are decisions to be made, but they are training with the team. Dalot is also with the team this week, so in terms of the medical department, they are almost free." #MUFC pic.twitter.com/BdQRMGKvBe

The 55-year-old remains without his full compliment at Old Trafford this season but the return of three regular starters – players he can fully trust – will hopefully inject a sense of energy and grit to United’s performance against Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
Supporters were more furious at the way United attacked – or failed to – against Brighton but perhaps a more looming concern for the clash with Spurs, a team with plenty of pace and power, was how Mourinho’s side melted at the back. The return of Matic to the base of midfield and Valencia at right back will, you hope, provide some necessary steel at a time when it feels like this club is walking on stilts, heading towards a yawning chasm.
