Manchester United star Luke Shaw has impressed despite the club’s loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.
Jose Mourinho’s men were hosts but failed to take advantage of their home advantage and crashed to a 3-0 loss.
Shaw was the only player in the defence to survive the disappointing loss to Brighton last week with Antonio Valencia, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones coming in for Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Ashley Young.
The youngster proved his manager right and continued his excellent start to the season much to the fans’ delight.
Luke wasn’t only easy on the eye but has the stats to back a display that would make anyone proud.
Luke Shaw's game by numbers vs. Spurs:
most touches (90)
most passes completed (49)
most dribbles completed (3)
second most key passes (3)
4 aerial duels won
Another impressive performance. 🙌 pic.twitter.com/v5A60Qo347

Despite being a left-back Shaw was still able to get an impressive number of dribbles completed while second most key passes is a surprise.
The former Southampton man has shown a willingness to get forward this season that was missing from his game in previous campaigns.
His key passes stat is testament to how attacking he was but it didn’t overshadow how defensively solid he was either.
Hopefully Luke can continue his excellent form for Manchester United and develop into the top left-back everyone knows he’s capable of being.
