Manchester United fans excited after Champions League draw

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United fans have reacted to the Champions League draw with some excitement despite being included in the same group as Juventus, Young Boys and Valencia.

The draw means Jose Mourinho‘s men won’t have to travel anywhere far for their campaign but that doesn’t guarantee qualification to the next round.

The Italian champions will definitely be stern opposition and are even arguably the favourites of the group.

Valencia performed admirably in the La Liga last season and appear to be close to returning to their former glories.

Young Boys were Swiss champions by a comfortable margin but nonetheless United are expected to qualify to the next round.

Draws against Juventus and Valencia away from home would be deemed as decent results though the Red Devils would be expected to win both at Old Trafford.

Although Young Boys are predicted to prove a tough test, Mourinho’s men must pick up all six points against them if there’s any hopes of qualifying.

Manchester United haven’t started the season in their best form but the Champions League can offer a welcome distraction.

Zinedine Zidane didn’t have the best of seasons with Real Madrid last year when it came to the La Liga but winning the Champions League title meant his reputation was salvaged.
