Manchester United fans couldn’t hide their anger towards Alexis Sanchez after his poor performance vs Wolves.
The Chilean has struggled in recent weeks and supporters couldn’t remain patient any longer.
Sanchez was rested midweek for the sole reason of turning up against the visitors but unfortunately couldn’t do so.
United desperately needed the winger to step things up as they were held by Wolves at Old Trafford.
The 1-1 draw was frustrating since the attack looked so toothless and Alexis was a part of the problem.
No player in the dressing room has been supported by Mourinho as much as Sánchez has. Inspite of being so heavily backed, he manages to drop terrible performances week after week. Hope he's dropped next week. We played much better when Martial came on.

How Sanchez starts over Martial is still a wonder. 🤦🏽♂️

I just want Mourinho to do one thing and I’m not asking for much… Please don’t start Alexis Sanchez and give Martial a chance. Thank you.

Also. I’d rather you block me than defend Sánchez anymore. The bloke is on £350k, had no pre-season, was rested on Wednesday, and he’s absolutely horrid.

Alexis Sanchez is to Manchester United what Fernando Torres was to Chelsea.

Sanchez looking like Rooney during his latter days at #MUFC. Plenty of effort but lacking that yard he once had, and becoming more of a nuisance than a help. Basic passing let him down today too. No reason why Martial shouldn’t now get a run in the team.

It’s fair to say Sanchez hasn’t shown Manchester United fans his true ability on a consistent basis yet and the excuses are running out.
Initially it was clear he needed time to adjust but now he’s had plenty of that.
There have also been fans who defended him saying he’s exhausted but he’s since had the summer off and was fit and firing in pre-season.
It was almost as if the moment the actual competitive season began that Alexis’ form completely disintegrated.
Supporters are now clueless about how to help him back to his best and his defenders are slowly disappearing.
