Marcus Rashford, who is suspended for this game and the meeting with Derby County in the week, started against Young Boys alongside Anthony Martial in what was a positive attacking performance from Jose Mourinho’s side.
Lingard and Sanchez both come back in to replace the pair, while Valencia, after Mourinho opted against playing him on a plastic pitch on Wednesday, serves as the only change for Man United at the back, with Luke Shaw deservedly keeping his place in the starting XI.
