Both Herrera and Lingard have been unavailable since Manchester United’s defeat to Derby County in the League Cup last week, while Marcos Rojo has not featured at all since the summer.
Young picked up a minor injury during the 3-1 defeat to West Ham United last weekend and missed out on Tuesday’s stalemate with Valencia.
Speaking in a very short and early press conference today, Mourinho confirmed that only Young would return for the meeting with Rafa Benitez’s side.
“No, it’s exactly the same [squad],” he said. “No new injuries and the players who were injured [are still out] with the possibility of Ashley Young coming back to the squad but Ashley was really a minor situation.”
