Paul Pogba was sensational in the second half of Manchester United’s 3-2 win against Newcastle United on Saturday evening and he was filmed celebrating by himself on the Old Trafford pitch afterwards.
The French midfielder had a torrid first half for Man United just like the whole team as they went 2-0 down to the visitors in just 10 minutes. Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle had scored only four times all season, in seven games.
Yet after the break, Pogba was vital in an epic United come back. Moved back into central defence by Jose Mourinho, in an odd move, Pogba dictated the game, but also moved forward when United attacked and was involved in both the Reds’ second and third goal.

It’s not the first time that Pogba has shared a moment with the United fans. There’s a lot of talk about Pogba’s future at the club, with a move to FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain or back to Juventus being possible.
However, when you see moments like this, where Pogba has his shirt off having given it to a young fan and is applauding the supporters, the 25-year-old seems happy with life at United.
No one suggests that Pogba is unhappy in Manchester, but there have been suggestions that he’s unhappy with life under United boss Jose Mourinho.
He was superb in the second half against Newcastle and performances like that, where he does the simple jobs perfectly, are what United fans want to see from Pogba.
