Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly reignited his interest in World Cup finalists Ivan Perisic and Ante Rebic.
The Portuguese boss was said to have been keen on recruiting both over the summer but neither player ended up moving to Old Trafford.
United could’ve done with a right sided winger as well as a back-up striker to first choice Romelu Lukaku.
Unfortunately the board were said to have not been keen on meeting the valuations for both players as they would cost around £40m-£50m each.
Mourinho was visibly upset by the lack of action in the summer transfer market and is apparently set to cause mayhem if the same happens this winter.
According to the Sportsman, the Mirror report that Jose has demanded Ed Woodward to sort these transfers out in the January transfer window or there will be trouble.
It’s unclear what kind of trouble the report means but it could be that the former Chelsea man would threaten to quit.
Mourinho has looked far from happy for quite some time now and it’s said the majority of his frustrations lie with the board.
The Red Devils may be forced in giving in to his demands given how embarrassing it would look should their coach depart due to a lack of ambition.
