Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is hoping Scott McTominay can develop further by sending him out on loan.
The youngster has made a few appearances so far this season but it would be a struggle for him to feature regularly in the long run.
Mourinho has plenty of options in midfield and is almost overstocked even if he continues playing three in the middle.
Even if fans take into consideration two players per position it still leaves one over so it makes sense the Scotsman is the sacrificed player.
According to Bristol Post, the Sun report that Leeds and Aston Villa are interested in bringing Scott in on loan as Jose hopes he can develop with more match time.
Perhaps the former Chelsea boss would like to hand more appearances to Andreas Pereira who has hardly featured this campaign.
The Brazilian enjoyed a fantastic pre-season but couldn’t get a look in to the starting XI ever since Matic returned from injury.
With the Serbian picking up another knock over the international break however, Pereira could start in the upcoming clash against Chelsea.
