Marcus Rashford fired up after goal and assist vs Spain

Marcus Rashford was certainly fired up after an outstanding performance vs Spain in the recent UEFA Nations fixture.

The Englishman was key in his country’s 3-2 defeat of their opponents having grabbed a goal and an assist.

The striker was under pressure after missing two clear cut chances against Croatia just days earlier.

However, Rashford proved his worth against tougher opposition and silenced his critics.

In fact, all of England’s front three were impressive but the youngster has revealed it wasn’t by luck that they looked so fluid.

Perhaps Jose Mourinho would take a leaf out of the Three Lions’ book and help his own front three link-up more effectively.

Manchester United have looked far from confident in front of goal and will need to step it up after the international break.

Mourinho’s men take on the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus twice over the coming weeks.

A solid defensive performance would be certainly be needed but their efforts up front is definitely what needs more work.

Hopefully Rashford, along with United’s other stars, can continue their form for their respective international sides for their club as well.

Jose’s job hangs in the balance and a difficult fixture list definitely won’t help that.
