Manchester United fans couldn’t hide their disgust with their team’s performance after the defeat to Valencia in the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho watched on as his men put in an uninspired display when a win could’ve helped them top their group.
The Portuguese manager had stated he wished to see a determined and brave performance from some of the club’s stars who haven’t gotten as many minutes as they would’ve wished of late.
However, Mourinho and the supporters were terribly let down with the players failing to take advantage of Juventus’ loss to Young Boys to top the group.
After the convincing win over Fulham just days before, it was a completely different United side, both in terms of names and mentality.
95% of players at United have regressed under Jose and it’s disgraceful to be witnessing it on a weekly basis. #mufc

Man United have been 2-0 down in 30 percent of their games this season.

1 – Phil Jones is the first Manchester United player to score an own goal during a Champions League match since Phil Jones also did so back in November 2011 v Benfica. Calamity. #VALMUN

The sight of Phil Jones barking at his team-mates' defending after Valencia nearly get in again probably sums up that half for United. Fringe players who have come in have looked rusty and others not played with intensity needed to give Mourinho a welcome headache. Poor. #VALMUN

Manchester United are being schooled by one of La Liga's poorest sides this season. But it doesn't matter, because they beat Fulham!

The loss would’ve hurt the Red Devils pride more than anything else since qualification was already achieved but it would’ve been good to have gone on a winning run.
Jose desperately needs one since his job is on the line and it reaching the half way point of the season.
