Marouane Fellaini could leave Manchester United this month: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini could leave the club as early as this month much to the delight of some fans.

The Belgian is no longer the scapegoat whenever things go wrong but supporters have held onto their belief that he shouldn’t be at Old Trafford nonetheless.

Fellaini had arrived at United during David Moyes’ ill-fated era and has remained through two more manager’s reigns as well.

Unfortunately for him though it appears as though Jose Mourinho’s departure could spell the end for him too.

According to the Daily Mail, AC Milan have renewed their interest in Marouane and are keen on securing his services this transfer window.

The Italian giants were said to be interested in signing him for free before he extended his stay with the Red Devils but will still attempt to get their man.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival at Old Trafford has seen a turn in fate for Fellaini as he’s hardly featured in the five matches so far.

It seems the Norwegian isn’t too keen on playing the midfielder and has often opted to allow youngsters Andreas Pereira or Scott McTominay get match-time instead.

With Mourinho gone it appears as though there’s no one there to fight for Marouane’s corner and a move may be best for his career.
